I made this dish and loved it! I added crushed red peppers to give it a kick and it was excellent! I will plan to make this dish again and share with family and friends!!!

I have made a similar recipe and love it. I cooked 2-3 slices bacon until crisp--used that grease instead of olive oil--made a huge, delicious side dish. If you are cautious with the grease, it should still be low in calories.

I've also been making this for years! great recipe. You can also add canned corned beef. Another tip, if you like spicy add a teaspoon (or more if you're adventurous) of Chili Sauce, you'll love it.

Excellent side-dish, I will definitely add a bit of red pepper/Tabasco the next time I make this one - which I absolutely will do.

Excellent dish, although I believe there are 4 servings per recipe here, not 6. I will definitely add a bit of red pepper/tabasco the next time I make this one - which I absolutely will do.
